hannah lamb-vines

the best time is now/never/later

Notes:
Time lapse video of installation. The piece uses the previous day’s stock data from Fannie Mae as values to move the machine vertically. The choreography lasts approximately 8 hours and through the calculated values always ensures there will be high and low spikes throughout the day to cause the pieces to fall to the floor. Speed of the movement is regulated by the distance it travels to create constant, but sometimes slow movement; the piece is always active and moving. Constructed from extruded aluminum, 3D printed parts, and microcontroller computer boards.
